For the next edition of Baseball Across the Commonwealth, we travel west on Interstate 64, then head north on I 81 for a few miles until we get to the small city of Harrisonburg. Nestle in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, Harrisonburg has seen a boom in local breweries over the past decade. Combine that with its rich history of local baseball, and it's the perfect city to visit on our trip.
We talk with local brewer Jeff Moon of Restless Moons Brewing about Harrisonburg's beer scene. Plus, we chat with Bob Wease and Dave Norman of the Harrisonburg Turks, before wrapping up today's episode with a conversation with Mike Burtner of the Rockingham County Baseball League. Tune in!
